Our Story

We are Zoe and Roland — partners in life, parents to our son Nathan, and the hearts behind what began as Kidamento and has now grown into kiimento.


When we became parents in 2019, like so many, we couldn’t stop capturing every precious moment — the tiny yawns, the giggles, the first steps. But somewhere between the snapshots, an idea took hold.

What if we let our little one capture his own memories?

We imagined a way for creativity to be simple, joyful, and real. When we couldn’t find cameras that felt right — fun, easy, and built to inspire — we decided to make them ourselves. With our backgrounds in engineering and design, we created cameras that help people of all ages connect through creativity and see the world differently.


That dream became Kidamento — a blend of kid and memento, born from the belief that memories deserve to last forever. Over time, our community of storytellers grew beyond children. Families, travelers, creators, and dreamers everywhere started using our cameras to capture their own moments that matter.


And so, Kidamento became kiimento — a new name for a bigger dream. A brighter, more playful reflection of everything we stand for: imagination, connection, and the magic of shared moments.
