This camera is truly incredible. It’s resilient to being dropped and my child absolutely loves it. We’ve had so much fun creating memories together.

You really came through for me. When the shipment got lost in transit, you stepped up within hours and a Christmas Miracle got Spiderman here in time for my granddaughters Christmas. You are all on the good list!

My son loves taking pictures on my phone. So I had to find the right camera that was easy for him to use, as he’s used to touch screens. In his first day he took 3-400 photos. It is also quite robust with the rubber casing. I give it a 10/10

The product is excellent quality for a kids' camera and impressively sturdy, having survived the last two days of enthusiastic use. XD

The only suggestion I have for improvement (hence 4/5 star) would be to make the top-left corner of the screen, where the “gallery button” is located, more responsive. It often takes several attempts to register a press. We've noticed this on both cameras, so I assume it's not an issue with just one unit.

Otherwise, they are fantastic, and we couldn't be happier!

This is a great camera choice for little ones. My five year old loves it! It's easy for her to use, takes surprisingly good photos and is adorable and durable. She loves the option to add the little graphics on the photos. Just overall perfect!

Abysmal image quality means this is not fit for purpose. I had written a longer review but it doesn't seem to have posted. Sample image provided (the one with trees) and an image from a 2006(!) camera phone (the one with the child - this was taken from a review of the Nokia 6230i).

Got this for my daughter 4th birthday and it was a huuuge hit!! The shipping was fast (much faster than their estimate - it actually came from Amazon, but order through their website for the extra warranty), the lanyard is genius (I love that there’s no parts to lose!), it’s easy for my daughter to use independently, charges quickly and seems to be good quality! My daughter loves taking 747,847+ pictures a day and is one very happy girl! 😍

My grandson has three sets of grandparents that are always gifting him things so finding something that is unusual and that he loves is hard. This camera was the hit of the birthday party and my 4 yr old took pictures of his guests and family that were there for the party and he did well right away. I can’t wait to see him use it over the year!

Bought the camera for my daughter as her birthday gift. She loves it. The camera is adorable and the resolution is fine.

Just gave this to our 3 year old daughter for Christmas. We went on a trip in November and she constantly asked to borrow my phone to take her own pictures. She has been non-stop running around the house taking pictures of everyone and everything ever since! Amazing gift.

One of my favorite photos ever of my four year old grandson is at his aunt’s wedding in formal wear, taking photos. He loves his Zippy the Sloth camera.

This was such an amazing gift for my 3 year old son. He took an interest in my camera a little while ago so this was the perfect gift. Seeing the world through his eyes and the funniest pictures are such a beautiful thing to witness. He brings his camera every where he goes. Super easy to use & super cute. All my friends who have children asked where I got it so they can get one for their kids too!

My 6 year old daughter received this for a gift and took 300 photos on the first day! 😂 She loves it, and I love that she loves it.

In short, I don't feel these are a great value, but my kids do love them.

Pro:
- The kids do love them
- The selfie camera is a hit
- The kids think the frames are fun
- The lanyard is pretty cool and SO FAR still works (but more on that later)
- Thankfully my kids don't care about quality

Cons:
- The resolution is not what the advertising makes you think it would be. I found the photos to be quite pixelated, no matter what resolution I set it to.
- The audio quality for video is not great. My kids like to talk to the camera, and sometimes you can barely understand what they say in the playback.
- I don't see what makes these any more durable than any other camera. These are still made in China and I feel like it shows.
- One of my kids fell, and a ring that attached the lanyard to the camera broke.
- Images are very grainy in any amount of low light. Daytime, in my house, with windows open makes for a grainy photo. Only outside in full sun does that seem to go away.
- Sometimes, especially after a fresh format, a few images are stretched or squeezed.
- Every time I upload data to my computer so far, at least one video file has been corrupted.

I'm keeping it at 3 stars because again, kids don't care about that stuff as much and they do love and use these little cameras a lot. My disappointment lies here: I don't feel like the image quality is much better than similar cameras that go for around $30. If I had to guess, the extra costs comes down to possibly the touch screen, the USB lanyard, and the rubber casing that only covers the bottom half. I was hoping to spend a little more to get more out of the image, but alas, no. Personally, I'd take a camera without the touchscreen, fancy USB lanyard and more, in trade for a better sensor.

I was hoping for something between a flip phone camera and a GoPro, and the price seemed right, but the quality feels more like a flip phone. I've added images from the camera to my review.

TL:DR
The quality doesn't impress, but your kids probably won't care. That said, there are cheaper options out there.

UPDATE (05/08/2023):
Now one of the cameras I bought has a faulty touch-screen. I wish I had gotten a camera with physical buttons. The bottom left no longer responds as it should. This means my kid can no longer look at the pictures he has taken anymore, and cannot back out of any menu. The only solution is to turn the camera off entirely and turn it back on. He's pretty frustrated at this. I'm removing a star.

Also, in response to Kidamento's reply, sure they claim transparency, but of course, they're going to pick the absolute best photos to show, and one of the example photos is a photos of printed pictures. You can't zoom in or see them at 100%. And in truth, most kids don't care. Mine don't care, but putting up a select few photos on your website is not what I would call transparency.

I bought this camera for my 4 year old grandson for Easter. I was not impressed with taking the lens cap off for the first time. The piece between the camera and the cap just came off. Not sure if it was damaged before it was sent to us. The camera works fine and our grandson loves it, but I am not impressed with the quality of the cap. I reached out to Kidamento, but no reply back. I hope no one else has this problem. I don’t want to send the camera back as my grandson just loves the camera. I expect we will have to live with it.
